Nach der Woche auf dem Boot sind wir für drei Tage weiter nach Venedig gefahren.Vor einigen Jahren war ich schonmal dort aber ich kann mich kaum erinnern (ich habe allgemein wahnsinnig wenig Erinnerung an meine ersten ca. 15 Lebensjahre was sehr traurig ist). Ich war aber trotzdem total sprachlos von der Schönheit dieser Stadt. Für deutsche Verhältnisse kann man sie durchaus als heruntergekommen bezeichnen aber das passt einfach sehr gut dazu. Venedig ist eben alt aber das ist ja auch irgendwo das was die Stadt so charmant macht. Ich jedenfalls finde sie eine der schönsten Städte überhaupt und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Klar ist Venedig total von Touristen überrannt aber man darf dann einfach nicht die Hauptrouten nehmen sondern durch die abgelegeneren und ruhigeren Gassen gehen.

After the week on the boat we spent three days in Venice. A few years back I've already been there but I can't really remember (my memories of my first approx. 15 years of life are so damn little, too sad). I was so impressed by this city, it's so beautiful, lovely houses and nice places everywhere. It's an old city, there are new/modern buildings nowhere, but that's the 'magic' about Venice I think! It's definitly one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to so far. The only bad thing are the tourists everywhere but you can escape them by taking small streets instead of the main routes.
